What is Invisalign Clear Aligner treatment?

Invisalign Clear Aligners are braces that straighten your teeth, giving you the confidence of a great smile.

 

Using advanced 3D computer imaging technology, Invisalign depicts your complete treatment plan, from the initial position of your teeth to the final desired position.

 

A series of clear aligners are custom made for your teeth and your teeth only to move them little by little.

There are no wires or brackets so you’ll have confidence in your smile during and after treatment. In fact, most people won’t even know you’re wearing Invisalign clear aligners. They are also removable so you can eat whatever you want and easily brush and floss as you normally would.

You’ll visit our practice every 4-6 weeks. On average, Invisalign treatment takes less than a year.

How do Invisalign clear aligner braces work?

The virtually invisible aligners are made of a thermoplastic material, a series of aligners are custom made for you, to move your teeth in a sequence determined by your orthodontist.  Each set of aligners are worn for approximately two weeks.

 

How often do I need to wear my Invisalign clear aligners?

It is recommended to wear your aligners for 20-22 hours per day and only remove them for eating or drinking and brushing.

 

Will they affect my speech?

Your aligners may temporarily affect your speech and you may have a slight lisp for a day or two. However, as you get used to the aligners in your mouth, any lisps caused by the aligners will disappear.

 

What is Invisalign Teen?

This is a type of clear aligner treatment is for patients who have a mixture of adult and baby teeth. The technology allows for the developing adult teeth to have space to erupt and aligns the teeth as they are developing.
