Edel had a mini screw placed to upright her impacted lower left second molar, using a combi steel-niti uprighting spring.

Frog appliance fitted today in both patients below to make space to align 13 and distalise and derotate the upper molars.

Congratulations to Jamie who had his braces removed today, he is delighted with his surgical -ortho result!

9-8-11                       New method to create space and avoid extractions and using headgear.

FROG appliance fitted today to distalise buccal segments and create space to accommodate canines and incisors . We are now using this new type of appliance thanks to the help of Bjorn Ludwig  and Tina Glassl  who designed and modified the appliance in their office in Germany and Rolf Lesch who carried out the laboratory work. Two small pins or mini- screws are placed in the palate and used as skeletal anchors to distalise and expand the molars
